Breast Cancer
So proud to be a woman today. I walked the 5K for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Race for a Cure. It was inspiring. Not only from the survivor aspect, which was awe-inspiring itself, but from a feminist point of view. These women are fighters. Blood and guts warriors. They don’t take this diagnosis laying down. They show up for battle and more and more women are winning. Amazing.

My two cents...
At least our politicians accomplished something. Whether you are for or against health care reform, at least you know that your elected official actually worked last night. Now, the GOP plans to block the bill. Great… I know that is why we elected you… to do nothing but fight on general party differences.

Earthquake
It freaks me out a little that the earthquake in Chile threw the Earth off its axis by 3 inches. And made my day shorter. Just the kind of thing that makes you appreciate how vulnerable all of ours lives are… Make every day count!
